THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister for Ports M. Vijayakumar has said that the response to the global tender recently floated by the State Government for the deepwater container transhipment terminal at Vizhinjam, near here, has been encouraging. He was inaugurating the corporate office of Vizhinjam International Seaport Limited (VISL), the company constituted by the Government to oversee the execution of the project. Mr. Vijayakumar said 14 tenders, including five from international entities, had been received by VISL so far.
