THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The much-delayed Vizhinjam project in the capital city has had a fresh infusion of government funds, with the budget for 2010-11 earmarking Rs.125 crore (Aprox US$ 27 Million) more for this scheme.

A global tender will be invited for the construction of the port and for associated activities, Finance Minister T.M. Thomas Isaac said in his budget speech on Friday.
